Global Web-based Marketing Framework
The web produces new opportunities, not just for middlemen to make greater profit mark-ups than they already do, but for both the producer and the consumer to effectively bypass the entire chain of middlemen in the direct delivery of the product to the doorstep of the consumer. If middlemen can be cut out, or at least their long chain and their "reach" truncated, especially in international transactions, then so also can be removed the enormous markups that they realize--good value can be returned to the original producers, and good value can remain at the consumer's doorstep. The information revolution of the Internet entails that it is time to make the middlemen work for a change.
