Life is an Illusion
Life is but a thin fragile glass of illusion
Cast in the silvery reflection
Of a fragile mirror
Hiding the shadowy hold of death
Just behind the frame and glass
The illusion of life
Is the depth of its emptiness
Death is shallow cast
In silent background shadows
Beyond the things caught forever
Frozen in the reflection
It is what comes before and goes out beyond
It is that mysterious ephemeral feeling
Of spaces hidden and only half haunted
The hint of a timeless world
Cast in dimensionless, silvery spaces
