Our Library
Our small library
Began as a single shelf of books
For students to freely borrow
What they please
And so great was the need
That one book became more
And a shelf became a cabinet and then several
And one student borrow became many demanding
Basic equality of lending privileges
Such that there were more members of the library
Than books owned by the library
But in such a manner are important lessons learned
And in such a way are new bridges built
Between the past and the future
And in this humble kind of beginning
Is the seed for a new world
Without repression
A world without distortion
Without the need
For Big Brother's help
