The Face of Hate
I know the face of hate
It is every face
It is any face
It is an empty face
It is a narrow pair of piercing eyes
It is an unfeeling, angry expression
A puffy set of lips
Around an almost open mouth
I see it everyday
It is uncaring
In its ignorance it does not know
It has no reason and needs no excuse
It is born from a life of frustration
An unforgiving, cheap life
Where nothing works
Except the people
It is a face
Of shear, utter exasperation
