Stranger in a Strange Land
Oh the hardship
Of enduring
To be a stranger
In a strange land
To be without a tongue
To talk
Without an ear to hear
To stick out everywhere
Like a sore old thumb
Everyday we meet the challenge
Of being oddities in a zoo
Stared at
Ridiculed
A spectacle to endure
And we endure, endure
And endure
Everyday we endure
Day after day
We hide when and where we can
And keep our distance
And avoid minor instances
That remind us of our differences
