Sounding the Soul, II

Diving deep down

To the bottom of the well

In the morning darkness

Sending silent signals

The beating of a tired heart

Down into the emptiness

Echoing through the depths

Swimming through the phenomenal places

Delving into forbidden, solitary spaces

Past locked doors and secret chambers

To find the source of myself

The soul beneath the surface

Delving past my own illusions

And the reflections of the world

Seeking the stubborn solitary

Essences of my being
