Of Citizens and Cattle

I

Must

Honestly

Admit that though

I have lived many lives

And died a thousand small deaths

For the very life of me

It's hard to tell

What is

Really

The main

Difference between

The people and the cattle

Strange it is to think about

All the overcrowded trains and buses

And about all the students milling aimlessly

Between their classes around the campus

Obeying without question

Without any choices

All answering

In the same

Slow way
