Lewis Micropublishing Publishing Options

These pages have been designed to help the novice writer bridge the gulf from original manuscript to polished first edition publication. The intention is not to attract clientele or a customer base for Lewis Micropublishing, but to assist those who have serious intentions about writing and then publishing what they write in a suitable forum. Lewis Micro-Publishing has its own framework for publishing and does not seek outside business at this time. We have some growing experience in publishing of various forms, especially in non-traditional and digital forums, that may be of some guidance or service to people seeking to put their writing out into the world. We are by no means experts in publishing, but we are learning as we go and we maintain an open-door with a welcome mat.

We want to encourage an open and creative approach to publishing, and will continue to build our publishing resources upon a number of levels. We believe in the efficacy and ecology of digital publishing frameworks and seek to explore new forums and methods for digital and non-conventional publication and construction of texts.

We see a hard-copy book as something more than a newsprint paperback that is slowly dissolving in its own acids, or as a library-basement reject consigned to the rubbish heap. We have been collecting old text books for years and are interested in wheeling and dealing with anyone.

We value the artistry and craftsmanship of good book design and publication, and will endeavor to repair old books.
