Shadow always behind

Ever present entity

Silently mimicking

Deafness

Formless shade consuming nighttime

Growing and shrinking

Monster on the back

Fear causing

Dumbness

Anonymous self by daytime

Faceless imagining

Out a corner of one eye

Or in a mirror

Blindness

Memory of forgotten pasts

Permanent attachments

Of empty shells

Hanging on

Till death
