e-publishing policy statement

~ If you are considering submission, read this statement entirely ~

Your submission constitutes your acknowledgement that you have read and understand these conditions fully and agree to the terms set forth therein.

If you are interested in submitting any work for e-publication, please send us an e-mail query beforehand, describing the kind of work that you would like to submit. Include a brief abstract of the work, a definition of the kind of work it is, the principle subject matter, plot or theme, and the length of the work in number of words.

Your query must also contain a statement to the effect that you have read this policy statement and agree fully to its terms and conditions. If any query does not have such a statement obviously placed at the head of the letter, then we will not accept the submission for publication.

In general, we will be as accommodating as possible for the widest range of works. Because our site is child friendly and educationally oriented, we cannot accept works that have explicit adult content as the main purpose of the work. We will not accept hate literature or works with a great deal of explicitly violent content. We would prefer for e-publications for you to download the work to our mailbox from where we can up-load it to the web-site.

Please specify the length of time that you would prefer to have your work published on-line. We will set an agreement for a specified period of time with the author. This agreement can be renegotiated at a later date.

Please understand that we will support and protect the fullest copyright privileges of the original author. At this time, e-publication is not for profit, therefore no royalties will accrue to the author for e-publication. Please do not submit works that are in the process of submission for hard-copy publication, or that have already been published by another publisher.

Please understand also that we cannot be liable for possible copyright infringement by people who use our site for other than educational, personal or research purposes. While e-publication is a great way to advertise and promote your work and your name, it is highly susceptible to being printed and copied by other people and even subject to plagiary. While we will support the legal interests of submitters, we cannot accept liability for any possible third-party infringement.

As much as possible, we are willing to work within a reasonable limit to help any writers wishing to submit their works. This includes proof reading and editing of the text, suggestions for revision, and feedback from the author in terms of preferences for formatting, style of presentation, etc.

At this time, we have no size limits to the texts submitted. We cannot accept multiple texts from one author at one time. Please do not submit texts that are laden with too many graphic images. It is likely that we will edit many of these images out before considering the text e-publishable.

As much as possible, we will promote the individual's works at the same time that we promote our other web pages. We have adopted a policy of active but non-aggressive promotion of our web pages. If you would like special promotions, such as advertising, banners, etc., then we will try to help you within reasonable limits. Please do not assume that we will spend money from our own pockets outside of our normal framework for such promotions.
