Level 1 Systems
Level 1 type Systems are general theoretical models that describe natural and alternative systems of various kinds, classified according to their natural levels of stratification and in terms of their emergent properties that are used to describe and explain these systems. Level 1 Systems models therefore are theoretically different depending upon the classification and kind of system under consideration.
We have at this time identified five general kinds of Level 1 Systems:
A. Abstract systems
B. Physical systems
C. Biological systems
D. Anthropological (Symbolic) systems
E. Alternative systems
We may hypothesize that the complete range of these five kinds of systems has not been exhaustively understood or comprehended. We may also hypothesize new kinds of Level 1 systems that we have not previously comprehended--what might be called "preterphysical systems" and possible extra-biological systems as well as non-anthropological symbolic systems that may occur in reality. These possible systems at this time form a subclass of Alternative Systems.
