Mediational Systems

The ability to systematically implement various mediational strategies is critical to the consulting framework of the Lewis-Works framework. Mediation must be understood as the ability to effectively intervene in relationships and contexts that promote inter-human communication, cooperation, realization of common goals, etc.

Mediational systems may involve many alternative methods and kinds of mediation. We may identify a few forms:

1. intercultural mediation
2. conflict mediation
3. anger management and behavioral mediation
4. resource and social mediation
5. structural and institutional mediation

There are recognized principles and common steps in these various forms of mediating frameworks that need to be taken into account anytime one attempts such mediation.
