As Lewis-Works continues to boot-strap and organize itself down the road, its development has targeted a number of general long-range goals and specific objectives. The value of Lewis-Works is that it creates its own context and from a metasystemic standpoint is self-organizational.
The principle value of Lewis Works is its structural and social independence, relatively speaking, from preestablished frameworks. Independence is a core value of this framework that allows it to be articulated in an appropriate manner that serves its long term goals and interests.
Long range objectives include the possible inauguration of new global-based metasystems in the real world, and include a number of design systems at this time that are considered proprietary.
We can identify three general phases of development--initial (A), intermediate (B), and long-term (C). This analytical model is applicable to each of the major subsystems of Lewis-Works. Withing this three-phase framework, there are identified 15 levels of stadial development of the framework.Each of these three phases can in turn be subdivided into four levels, and we may identify two transition phases (5 and 10) between the initial, intermediate and long-term phases.
We are currently (January, 2005) in the fifth level transition phase.
