Lewis-works is interested in the design, understanding and realizaton of alternative control structures in systems. These control structures begin in the theory of control systems, and then in the non-linear dynamic behavior of real working systems under various control frameworks. A successful implementation of a control structure in real time may be considered to represent a partial solution to a complex problem set, and improvement in the operation of such control structures represent better solutions to complex problems
