Design Development
Design development is a basis for many project undertakings in Lewis Works, whether actual, virtual or potential. Generally, design development in Lewis Works is open but involves proprietary considerations and privileges. Already, our framework has been attacked multiple times by unscrupulous people at different levels and in different ways, one even involving the attempt to appropriate the entire framework by a social predator. American society (and the rest of the world) is very resistant to positive change through cooperative endeavor, but very much into exploitative manipulation.
Most of our design development projects are carried on confidentially and in a discrete manner. We will undertake design development for second party interests if the means and capacity exists for their successful development. We do not at this time have the resources to fund or "produce" outside projects beyond a general consulting framework, and would recommend to anyone entertaining this idea to look elsewhere for such support.
Design development as a project-based undertaking is usually a long-term commitment the outcomes of which are not fully controllable or predictable. It requires a level of commitment and motivation that goes beyond the normal structure of everyday life.
