Notebooking

Note-booking (and note-taking) is a way of maintaining a forum and framework for systematic observation and record keeping, and the use of notes permits a critical tact to a problem definition, project design and problem resolution. Keeping up note-books on a daily basis, as a matter of routine, ensures that there will be some degree of critical reflection relating to one's approach. Later, when analysis and assessment become more important, note-books provide invaluable records of events, observations, ideas and other data that can be critical to analysis and synthesis of information.
