Creative Heuristics

Creative heuristics come into play primarily in the original design, but can be useful as well during and after a period of project development. Usually in field contexts, there will occur a period about 2/3rds through the planned schedule during which temporary withdrawal and reassessment of one's approach and the problem can lead to greater success than otherwise.
