The anthropological construction of reality is a theory derived primarily from Berger and Luckmann's theory of the Social Construction of Reality. It concerns primarily the anthropological reception and interpretation of experience and the organization of behavior and social relationships in patterned ways as a consequence of this symbolic integration of reality. Furthermore, it concerns what can be called the cultural construction of reality, and the consequences of this for the development of human cultural and social patterning, human evolution and historical development of human technological civilization.
