Earthboundness is a central doctrine relating to applied metacultural systems. In sum, I would say it concerns the human realization in behavioral and symbolic terms of the importance of a sustainable relationship with the earth as a whole and in all its myriad forms and parts. It is a sense of enlightened "earth being" and a sense of understanding the preciousness and fundamental human dependence upon the earth and its natural systems, for human life.
