Lewis Works and Lewis Micropublishing really had its beginning in publishing and media production of various forms. The open-ended possibilities established within an alternative systems framework takes its main thrust from the possibilities found in writing and in art, as well as in the constructive possibilities found in alternative forms of cultural expression and organization. Lewis Micropublishing has been moving into content management and development frameworks of various kinds. Its original functions relating primarily to on-line and private publications have been shifted to Lewis Publications. The challenge of content management systems on-line has become more focally articulated at Lewis Notes.

We have had an abiding interest in the development of integrated multi-media production, performance and presentation systems, and this range of involvements will become increasingly articulated through this page.

Having as an anthropologist crossed proverbial cultural boundaries, it is evident that no cultural system or pattern is naturally imperative nor conventionally necessary. Therefore, the discovery and realization of alternative patterns in all areas becomes inscribed in what we may do or become in the world.
