Consulting, Troubleshooting & Planning
Details of our consulting & troubleshooting framework may be found through the following link:
Our consulting framework is based upon our professional training and involvement in anthropological research, and involves general and specific problem solving in development issues and contexts.
We have adopted and adapted a General Systems framework with the idea that all human knowledge can be unified within a single comprehensive approach that has universal applicability. Though we are not the first or unique in this approach, the manner that we have undertaken this is unique and has its basis in professional methodologies developed in science and scholarship.
Emphasizing a general systems framework does not imply that we have no deep regard for expert detailed knowledge or the knowledge or capacities that arise through specialized expertise in specific areas of application.
We accept clients on a first come, first serve basis. We do not distinguish the requirements of large or small accounts or complex or minor problem sets. We do though distinguish on the basis of ethical or metaethical considerations and upon the basis of strategic priority.
Typically, the preliminary phase of establishing a consulting project is to determine if there is a problem that exists that may be defined in a manner that allows the application of a systems based approach, the objectives of such application, and whether the problem set or the general situation of the problem set warrants further commitment of resources to its resolution. We will give free advice and preliminary consultation and will refrain from taking on projects or problem sets that appear highly uncertain in approach or unlikely in successful outcome.
If a consulting project is undertaken in the second phase, then typically this will involve a cycle, or series of cycles, involving periods of multi-method research, data analysis, project synthesis and construction and development. culminating in final reporting and signing off on finished projects.
In general, a consulting project may be begun or ended at any time on the basis of mutual agreement or for purposes of conflict mediation and resolution.
